While it's common and important to thank mentors, today I was thinking about a different kind of impact: the incredible energy and fresh thinking that early-career professionals bring to teams.
I was recently part of a conversation where someone proudly mentioned - their company primarily focuses on hiring experienced professionals. It made me reflect on how much value I’ve seen from those just starting their journey.
Some of the most inspiring contributions I’ve witnessed have come from interns and new grads. They bring a unique perspective, ask thoughtful questions, and approach problems with curiosity and creativity. Their positivity is often contagious, and their impact, undeniable.
Nothing has made me prouder than watching new joiners grow into outstanding professionals - maturing with confidence, taking on complex challenges, and driving meaningful outcomes.
Experience teaches us how things are done. But early talent often helps us rediscover why we do them in the first place.
